PRODUCER CHRISTIAN LAROUCHE PREPARES A FILM ABOUT FAMOUS HOCKEY PLAYER GUY LAFLEUR
Christal Films Productions is pleased to announce that it is currently developing a film about the life of the illustrious hockey player Guy Lafleur. Producer Christian Larouche has received the approval of the Lafleur family and is counting on his full cooperation in this project. The script will be written by Luc Picard. At the moment, no director is attached to the project.
“Obviously I’m very happy to be able to bring the life of my childhood idol to the screen. It’s an ambitious and challenging project,” says Christian Larouche. “I wore number 10 myself!” he adds.
For Christian Larouche this is not his first autobiographical film, he who produced Gerry (2011), Louis Cyr (2013) and Gallant: confessions d’un tueur à gages, which Luc Picard is currently finishing and which will be released in 2021. He has also produced two hockey films, Les Pee-wee (2012) and Junior Majeur (2017), and several other hits such as Le Mirage (2015) and Les trois p’tits cochons 2 (2016). His latest production, the feature film Tu te souviendras de moi, will be released in February 2021.
