The film stars Alicia Witt (88 Minutes, Urban Legend, Two Weeks Notice), Shane McRae (The Help, Still Alice, The Adjustment Bureau) and Bebe Neuwirth (Jumanji franchise, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Fame). Produced by Alex Appel, with Amy Hobby and Anne Hubbell; the film is made in the US but conceived and helmed by a Canadian.

SYNOPSIS
Modern Persuasion centres on Wren Cosgrove (Alicia Witt), a happily single and self-confessed workaholic who, after steadfastly rising to the top of the ladder in the NY corporate publicity world, finds herself coming home every night to her cat. When her firm is hired by Owen Jasper, “the man who got away,” long-lost feelings are stirred giving Wren a second chance at true love.
