A series of German cooking workshops
given in French by chef Annika Wegerle

The Goethe-Institut de Montréal is pleased to announce four German cooking workshops in French and online starting January 30. Organized by chef Annika Wegerle, these will allow the most curious to discover German gastronomy and cook in groups, thanks to a series of online workshops and some easy, delicious and comforting recipes.
At the first workshop, which will take place on January 30 at 11:30 a.m., Annika Wegerle will offer participants the how-to to cook her grandmother’s potato salad, a style typical of southwestern Germany.
This series of workshops is aimed at people who already have some basic knowledge of cooking. The following workshops will take place on February 27, March 27 and April 24.
The workshops will be held in French. The recipe, instructions, and login link to the workshop will be emailed to participants on January 27.

About Annika Wegerle
Annika Wegerle was born in a small town in southwestern Germany and grew up with the potato salad of her Oma, her mother’s pea soup and sputto and the cheesecake of her other Oma. After a few years in Berlin and Montreal, she moved to Paris to train in cooking at the renowned hotel school FERRANDI. She has worked for several gourmet restaurants in Paris.
