The Quebec film LIKE A HOUSE ON FIRE (French version: Comme Une Maison en Feu), directed byMontrealer Jesse Noah Klein, will be screened exclusively at the Cinéma du Parc on March 26th in the original English version. The film will then be available on video-on-demand for purchase and rental in the original English version and in a French version dubbed in Quebec from March 30. 

Dara returns home to reconnect with her husband and daughter, whom she left two years earlier. Upon arrival, she discovers that a woman who is 7 months pregnant has taken her place and that her little girl no longer recognizes her. LIKE A HOUSE ON FIRE tells the story of a woman who wants to get back to the life she left behind.

Co-produced by Colonelle Films and Woods Entertainment, LIKE A HOUSE ON FIRE is the second feature film by Montreal director Jesse Noah Klein. His first feature film We’re Still Together (2017) was presented in competition at the Karlovy Vary Festival and won two ACTRA awards as well as two Iris Award nominations for the performance of his two leading roles. For this second feature film, he was joined by actress Sarah Sutherland (Veep), Jared Abrahamson (Hello Destroyer) and musician Hubert Lenoir, who is making his debut film role here. The rest of the cast includes Quebec actress Amanda Brugel, best known for her role in The Handmaid’s Tale, Margaux Vaillancourt, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Michael Riley and Sheila McCarthy. 

LIKE A HOUSE ON FIRE will be shown exclusively in the original English version at the Cinéma du Parc on March 26th before being available on video-on-demand on all platforms in English and French dubbed in Quebec.
