Let’s imagine, together, the future of creativity and entertainment
March 22 to May 20
Online
The 3rd edition of the NUMIX Consultation Forum dedicated to French-speaking creative industries, organized by Xn Quebec, will take place online from March 22 to May 20. Grouped into 8 thematic groups, participants will need to make concrete recommendations for the creation of new business and distribution models for each sector.
These recommendations will be unveiled at the Forum’s final plenary on 20 May.
This year the Forum is changing its format and duration to adapt to the calendar of entrepreneurs and producers of digital experiences. It should also be remembered that for the first time, the NUMIX Forum will be held on the margins of the 12th NUMIX AWARDS in order to build a series of unifying annual events designed to create and animate a community of digital producers and creators from across the French-speaking world.
8 themes to reflect on the future of digital creativity
In a collaborative approach, participants will be grouped into 8 thematic groups that will meet for a total of 8 hours of workshops with the aim of making concrete recommendations for the creation of business models and distribution of each sector. The themes chosen for this 3rd edition are: temporary experiential installations in the public space, travelling immersive exhibitions, permanent multimedia experiences, XR distribution, augmented set design for the living arts, podcasts, original online experiences and the hybridization of cultural events.
A collaborative platform to foster exchanges between French-speaking producers
In addition to this colossal collaborative work, a platform will be made available to Forum participants and PRIX NUMIX bidders on SWAPCARD to enable them to network, organize business meetings, access exclusive content, and foster the creation of new business models. In addition, with the aim of fostering the sharing of expertise and good practices, 10 conferences will be presented on the platform with the aim of inspiring and reflecting on the different themes.

Final Plenary – FORUM NUMIX
Representatives of the 8 thematic workshops of the Numix Forum will share the fruits of their reflections and recommendations on better management of the different sectors of activity.
The NUMIX Forum: an opportunity for the creation of new business models
The spin-offs and recommendations of the first two editions of the Consultation Forum in 2017 and 2018 have led to the definition of two flagship projects that have since become key players in our ecosystem: the La Piscine accelerator, which provides support for cultural entrepreneurs, and the Synthesis Centre, which contributes to the development and development of cutting-edge expertise in digital creativity by fostering collaboration between different artists, students and professionals in digital creativity in Quebec. Another project based on the Forum’s recommendations is currently being developed: the creation of an Export Expertise Centre for Quebec producers to be managed by Xn Quebec.
