THIS SUNDAY @ THE SEGAL TAKES US AROUND THE WORLD!

Don’t miss another fascinating Sunday @ the Segal virtual panel right from the comfort of your home! As Every Brilliant Thing is a live interactive show produced during a global pandemic, we wanted to use this opportunity to celebrate other artists around the world who have adapted their work and channelled their creativity during these times of upheaval. Our digital Sunday @ the Segal panel brings together a group of national and international panelists to discuss the challenges and beauty of creating during a global pandemic. The discussion will feature 4 panelists and will be moderated by our incredible 20-21 season host Sarah Deshaies (CJAD radio).

WATCH LIVE – SUNDAY MAY 2 AT 11 A.M.

Every Brilliant Thing
May 1 to May 16, 2021, in the Segal Centre Studio

By Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe

Directed by Dean Patrick Fleming
Starring Daniel Brochu
A Segal Centre production in association with Hudson Village Theatre

The colour yellow, roller coasters, ice cream — as a mother battles chronic depression, a child creates a list of every brilliant thing they can think of, to remind them what makes life worth living. As the child grows, so does the list. Looking back on a life of ups and downs, the man takes the audience on an inspiring journey that celebrates finding joy in the everyday and being grateful for the simple pleasures hiding all around us. At once intimate and interactive, this touching, funny, and uplifting performance chronicles life’s small joys and reveals the lengths to which we will go for those we love.
