Johnnyswim—the acclaimed husband and wife singer-songwriter duo of Amanda Sudano–Ramirez and Abner Ramirez—are set to release their first book, Home Sweet Road: Finding Love, Making Music, and Building a Life One City at a Time, on June 8 via Convergent/RandomHouse. Johnnyswim captures their family’s raw and intimate moments by sharing never before told stories, beautiful photos, recipes and poetry from their life on tour with their three young children. Johnnyswim met in Nashville in 2005 and quickly started writing songs together. They clicked musically and personally, beginning a romantic relationship alongside their creative connection. The couple married in 2009 and relocated to Los Angeles where they currently reside with their three children.
Throughout their career, the group has released three full-length albums, a Christmas EP and a live record, which has garnered over 500 million streams worldwide. They’ve performed on television shows including “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “TODAY,” “CONAN,” “Live with Kelly & Michael,” “The Tonight Show starring Jay Leno,” “Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” while their hit song “Home” remains the theme for HGTV’s “Fixer Upper.” Johnnyswim have toured extensively worldwide, headlining shows at iconic venues stateside and abroad.
