“In Your Mouth,” the new single from 4-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Michael League, is out today; listen HERE and watch the accompanying video HERE. The track is off League’s debut solo album So Many Me, due June 25 via GroundUP Music; pre-order HERE.
“Politicians often foment the actualization of some of our ugliest impulses as humans,” says League. “This song is about the desire to return the favor.” Directed by Jep Jorba, the music video features residents of a small village outside of Barcelona dressed in wearable paper sculptures by artist Aloma Lafontana (Rosalía, Rita Payés).
So Many Me demonstrates an introspective turn and culminating moment for League, showcasing the mastery of craft that has made his impact on the industry indelible. The record represents a milestone for an artist whose seismic career (marked at its core by collaboration) has redefined instrumental music. League shared “Right Where I Fall,” the first single from So Many Me, last month; listen HERE and watch/share the video HERE.
