All New Season 6 to Premiere in October

To get Canadians caught up on the TV phenomenon that has swept Britain, where season 6 recently premiered to record-setting audiences, seasons 1–5 of the critically-acclaimed World Productions series are available now on Hollywood Suite On Demand.
Written and created by Jed Mercurio, the award-winning police procedural drama follows the investigations of AC-12, a controversial police Anti-Corruption unit. Featuring a cast that has included Lennie James (The Walking Dead), Martin Compston (The Nest), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Vicky McClure (Broadchurch), Adrian Dunbar (Ashes to Ashes), Neil Morrissey (Men Behaving Badly), Claudia Jessie (Bridgerton) and Gina McKee (Phantom Thread), the series has become a phenomenon, captivating audiences worldwide. Winner of 12 prestigious awards, including Best Drama Series from the Royal Television Society, the series was also named as one of the 80 best BBC shows of all time by The Daily Telegraph.

Set a year and half after the events of the previous season, season 6 will see the return of Vicky McClure, Adrian Dunbar and Martin Compston reprising their roles as DI Kate Fleming, Superintendent Ted Hastings and DS Steve Arnott, with Shalom Brune-Franklin (Our Girl) as a new addition to the AC-12 team. Kelly Macdonald (Boardwalk Empire) makes her debut as Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson, the senior investigating officer on an unsolved murder case whose suspicious conduct attracts the attention of AC-12 unit.
Line of Duty season six is in association with, and distributed internationally by, ITV Studios. It was produced for BBC One by World Productions and is directed by Daniel Nettheim (Broadchurch, Doctor Who), Gareth Bryn (Hinterland, Last Tango in Halifax), and Jennie Darnell (Bodyguard, Hetty Feather), and the producer is Ken Horn (The Moorside, Line of Duty series five).
