Ride a carousel with the Great Bernardo!
Every weekend from July 3 to August 22, families are invited to take a ride on the Great Bernardo’s “human-powered” carousel!
At Place Royale, climb aboard the unique merry-go-round of this colourful tamer of wild beasts, who will get you spinning as though he were taming the menagerie of his own small circus. You and your children can fall under the charms of his fantasy world inspired by the fairgrounds and traditional circuses of old.
A fifteen-minute theatrical performance will also put a smile on everyone’s faces! |
A new exhibition at Place D’Youville
A Parliament Beneath Your Feet
Stroll over the remains of a heritage jewel! In the 19th century, just a few steps from the Museum on Place D’Youville West, stood a magnificent neoclassical building over 100 metres long that housed Saint Anne’s Market (Montréal’s first covered market) and the Parliament of the United Province of Canada. Use the Museum’s app to visit 6 stations to get exclusive content about the iconic spots of the market and parliament and learn about the political figures and everyday people who used these spaces. Don’t miss this new exhibition! |
Get out your dancing shoes for Midday Music at Pointe-à-Callière

Come to Place Royale to bop and twirl with your family and friends to the sounds of musicians such as Mehdi Cayenne Club, Étienne Coppée, Caracol, among many others.
