The film ANNETTE by French director Leos Carax will begin screening on August 6th. Presented in the opening and official competition of the 74th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the film was awarded the Best Director Award by the jury chaired by Spike Lee. A musical starring Marion Cotillard, Adam Driver and Simon Helberg, ANNETTE marks the return of the enfant terrible of French cinema.
Actress Renate Reinsve was also awarded the prestigious Best Actress Award for her performance in the Norwegian comedy-drama JULIE (EN 12 CHAPITRES) by Joachim Trier (Oslo, August 31, Stronger than Bombs).
