Qualité Motel trade their tour van for a sailboat
in order to create an eco-friendly event that respects nature
From August 19 to September 8, the members of Qualité Motel will literally have wind in their sails as they take to the sea for the second edition of their sailboat tour: La Virée du Saint-Laurent. The band will stop in Gaspé, Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Matane, Rimouski, le Bic, l’Anse-Saint-Pancrace, l’Île du Grand Caoui, Sept-Îles, Havre-Saint-Pierre and l’Archipel-de-Mingan to enliven the shores of the most gorgeous sites across Quebec. Barbecue, free Qualité Motel concerts, swimming, paddleboard, drinks and local cuisine: here is what the public can expect again this year from La Virée du Saint-Laurent!
This time, the band will travel with the awesome crew of La Belle Vie Sailing aboard the GrosLoup, their Jeanneau Sun Fast 43. After sailing over 400 nautical miles in five days in 2019, the band has now planned a journey of 520 miles in 22 days. Follow their adventure as it happens via their Facebook and Instagram pages.
