The MEG Montreal has unveiled the program for its 22nd edition, which will be held this year from September 4 to 6 at Parc Jean-Drapeau. A festival focused on the emerging electro and hip hop scene since its creation, MEG Montreal has evolved a lot over the years to always take up the mission of bringing together an audience of curious and open-minded music lovers. For this new edition, the festival displays its artistic direction and a renewed concept where the emerging scene will be put in the spotlight more than ever!
A New Creation and Meeting Space for Artists from the Hip-Hop Culture
The flagship event of the cultural and university back-to-school season, the MEG Montreal festival had a record crowd of 22,000 people during its last edition in 2019. This year, in order to meet the growing needs of the public and musicians, the MEG Montreal festival highlights emerging artists with a program increasingly oriented towards hip hop culture and offers them a new space for creation and meeting.
