Season seven is the final season for this member of the NCIS family. New Orleans or NOLA is the locale of this one. The theme of COVID-19 runs throughout the first couple of episodes of the season. So obviously very topical and timely. We then get plenty of the usual for this type of show. The other episodes feature storylines involving a kidnapping of a young boy, murder by a sniper, a dirty cop, a torpedo attack, and the killing of sexual assault victims.

The series started off as highly watchable but the changes, especially to some of the lead characters, sorta killed the momentum. Which kinda explains why it is being canceled by CBS after seven seasons. Even some longtime fans turned away from the show. Storylines became tired and repetitive.
