La Maison Théâtre presents the new production from the Théâtre des Petites Âmes: HERMANITAS
An intimate show to allow young and old to reconnect with the performing arts
From October 2, La Maison Théâtre will premiere HERMANITAS, the brand new production of the Théâtre des Petites Âmes for 2 ½ to 5-year-olds. After having amazed children (and adults!) with several intimate shows intended for very young audiences and unusual outdoor events (LE JARDIN D’ISABELLE, TIRE-TOI UNE BÛCHE!), Artist Isabelle Payant is back once again creating a delicate universe in which the puppet exploration of bodies, live music, manipulation of materials, play of light and shadow theater shape an enchanting story, full of imaginative scenic details.
Zola and Méli, las hermanitas, are twin sisters, yet very different: one came out of the womb feet first, the other head first, one likes to sleep, the other to eat. Most importantly, one has black skin and the other is white. Through the story of these two sisters playing hand in hand, united in both resemblance and difference, HERMANITAS is an invitation for young and old to celebrate diversity in all its poetry. An invitation to meet, to reconnect with the magic of the stage and the theater.
