Le Cinéclub de Montréal / The Film Society presents
Carl Dreyer’s VAMPYR (1932) with live music
Carl Dreyer’s VAMPYR is a hauntingly atmospheric masterpiece of European horror cinema. A trio of live musicians on piano, string and percussion will accompany a vintage film print projected onto a large screen in a beautiful movie temple built-in 1913. Preceded by the pioneering Sci-Fi Fantasy short A TRIP TO THE MOON by Georges Méliès along with another fantastical silent-era short.
