Two Falls (Nish Takuakut) is a narrative-driven game that lets you live the intertwining journeys of Jeanne, a shipwrecked girl stranded far from the French colonies, and Maïkan, a young Innu forced to travel west when his people are afflicted with a strange illness.
The game is now available to wishlist on Steam.
A Note: This game is made by a team which includes many indigenous creators and the content is being validated by a Council of Elders in Canada.
Immerse yourself in Canada’s wilderness
In Two Falls, you will become fully immersed in the wild territories of Canada through the perspective of the two characters, uncovering their realities, their way to understand life, and their unique relation to the land. For Maikan, the land is alive and familiar, as for Jeanne, everything is new, unfamiliar, scary and strange…
Live stories through multiple perspectives
All stories can be interpreted in many different ways, and Two Falls is no exception. Throughout the game, uncover and interpret different events from Maïkan or Jeanne’s point of view. Even characters they encounter will be seen differently. You will soon realize that one event can have very different meanings, eventually finding yourself doubting your own beliefs.
Make your decisions matter
Decide how to interact with the environment, interpret an event or react to another character’s actions, and shape how Jeanne and Maïkan grow throughout the game. You will live the emotions they feel as they grasp the fact that the world they once knew will never be the same. Every decision will have a great impact on the story!
