Les Scènes de Musique Alternatives du Québec (SMAQ) has announced that the closing night of the #SupportYourVenues crowdfunding campaign will take place on December 11th at Petit Campus and will feature performances from Ragers and Naya Ali

With financial support from the City of Montreal, Les SMAQ launched a crowdfunding campaign via La Ruche that directly supports participating independent concert venues, which have been hard hit since the beginning of the pandemic.

The #SupportYourVenues (#SoutenezVosScènes in French) campaign kicked off during Les Soirées SMAQ, presented during Coup de Coeur Francophone in early-November. The final concert in Les Soirées SMAQ series will feature Ragers and Naya Ali at Petit Campus and will mark the end of the crowdfunding campaign. There are now only 25 days left to buy your gifts cards!

Les SMAQ would like to thank the participating venues: Le Balcon, Ausgang Plaza, La Baleine Endiablée, Le Zaricot, Quai des Brumes, Le Pantoum, Bistro Le Ste-Cath, Le Minotaure, Le Monastère, La Source de la Martinière, Le Théâtre Sainte-Catherine, Le Turbo Haus, Le Verre Bouteille, La Sala Rossa, Le Terminal Comédie Club and La Coopérative de solidarité Vox Populi. The association also thanks the campaign’s partners: the City of Montreal, La Ruche, CHYZ 94,3 FM, La Caisse de la culture Desjardins, Lepointdevente.com, IHeart Radio and the Coup de Coeur Francophone festival as well as the campaign spokesperson Fred Fortin.
