The series tars multiple Tony award-winner Sutton Foster in the lead role and the supporting cast made up of Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, and Charles Michael Davis.
Younger is based around a story of a 40-year-old woman pretending she is in her 20s in order to get a job after she returns to work after a divorce. Caught up in the lie she continues it to keep a job she learns to love, keep her new friendships and a relationship with a younger man. All this to get back into the publishing world. However, the lie takes a toll on her and the people around her.
Though this is pretty much fluff, it is good fluff. Fluff that will have you watching episode after episode. It alternates from wild storylines to humour to emotional scenes. All done well. You would not expect any different as the series features Darren Star from Sex and the City fame as its creator and writer.
