Grammy Award-Winning duo Brasstracks debuts a new song “Still Life,” featuring “Best New Artist” Grammy-nominee Tori Kelly. This latest track marks a creative rebirth for Brasstracks who are starting anew as they release new music independently. Listen to the song HERE. “

‘Still Life’ kind of fell into my lap,” recalls Brasstracks’ co-founder Ivan Jackson. “Tyler Johnson (super producer) and Ilsey (super songwriter) had a chorus idea that they weren’t sure where to take, so I tried a few things. I knew that the idea was too special to let go of. After some chord tinkering, layering of many instruments, replacing those instruments with some of my friends we had an insane product, something that felt huge. Which meant we needed a huge voice. We also had to finish writing the song and luckily Tori Kelly was down for both. I’m so thankful to be putting out this song with this superstar personnel.”

Most recently, Brasstracks and breakout artist TOBi released their joint EP, Good Luck For Real to critical praise. FLOOD Magazine proclaimed, “…the powerful collaborative track ‘Good Luck for Real’ which combined what each respective player does best, with the emcee’s cool verses proving as perfect a complement to Ivan Jackson and Conor Rayne’s funky instrumental as one would imagine,” while Complex called the title-track “…a soulful, horn-filled track that bursts with energy.” Listen to the EP HERE.
