This winter, Pointe-à-Callière is paying tribute to brilliant illustrator and director Frédéric Back. A visionary artist and environmentalist Back directed 9 short films and won two Oscars for his animated shorts Crac! and The Man Who Planted Trees.

Watercolours, sketches, archival photos, personal objects… step into the wonderful world of this great artist who devoted his talent and sensibility to his fight for the planet.

Archaeologists Hendrik Van Gijseghem and François Gignac, who contributed to the book, will also be part of this book club event.
