PRAYER FOR A LOST MITTEN is back on the big screen starting February 7

PRAYER FOR A LOST MITTEN by Jean-François Lesage

The feature film Prayer for a Lost Mitten by Jean-François Lesage will return to the big screen when theatres reopen on February 7. It will be presented at Cinéma BeaubienCinémathèque québécoiseCinéma Moderne, and Cinéma Public.

Screening events with the filmmaker in attendance are scheduled on Monday, February 7 and Tuesday, February 8 at 7 p.m. at the Cinémathèque québécoise, as well as on Thursday, February 10 at 6 p.m. at Cinéma Public. Special screenings will also take place at the Sudbury Indie Cinema on February 12 at 5 p.m. and at Paraloeil, in Rimouski, on February 15 at 7:30 p.m.

Winner of numerous awards, including Best Canadian Feature at Hot Docs 2020, Prayer for a Lost Mitten is one of the five finalists for the 2022 Prix collégial du cinéma québécois (PCCQ). Note that it is the only documentary in the running for this coveted award.

The film is still available everywhere in Canada via the following online cinema platforms : Cinéma Le ClapCinéma PublicCinéma Moderne, and Cinémas Beaubien, du Parc et du Musée.
