The horror comedy STUDIO 666 by BJ McDonnell opens on February 25 in Montreal, Quebec City, Gatineau, and Trois-Rivières. The feature film stars members of the legendary rock band Foo Fighters – Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee – in their own roles.
Legendary rock band Foo Fighters moves into a mansion in Encino to record their highly anticipated album number ten. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the band’s life.
Directed by BJ McDonnell STUDIO 666 features Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee in their own roles alongside Whitney Cummings (2 Broke Girls), Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth), Jenna Ortega (Jane The Virgin), Leslie Grossman (American Horror Story) and Jeff Garlin (Arrested Development). Based on an original idea by Dave Grohl scripted by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes, STUDIO 666 was produced by John Ramsay and James A. Rota.
