Le Phoque Off 2022 ended recently. A festival that took the restrictions the pandemic imposed in stride. Le Phoque Off happened completely in a created world – a metaverse.

The 8th edition of Le Phoque Off ran for five days and it was the first festival to happen entirely in the Metaverse. Running from morning to night each day, it offered attendees a wide variety of things to try out or take in.

Panels discussions, networking opportunities, virtual cocktails, happy hours, and sessions were all available. Covering a myriad of subjects like mental health, women in music and Socan. Discussions were had, contacts were made and drinks were toppled.

But the centrepiece of the festival was the music. An inclusive and eclectic line-up of alternative musical acts from Quebec, Canada, Mexico, and France. With a combo of great music and cool visuals, a great atmosphere was created. Made you look forward to what could happen in the real world.
