The renowned singer-songwriter and actress will be co-starring in the upcoming Netflix movie, “Strangers”, and is also confirmed in a leading role for HBO’s, “Pretty Little Liars”.
Maia Reficco, one of the most important rising pop stars to watch, is back with a fresh and infectious new single, just in time for Women’s History Month. “Rápido y Furioso” (“Fast and Furious”) is a Spanish-language track, giving fans a taste of what’s to come in the career of the beloved Argentine-American pop star, who is currently working with an array of A-list producers towards her forthcoming debut EP.

The young artist, who was named the second most important macro-influencer on TikTok Argentina, continues to explore new avenues as a solo artist and decided to record in Spanish, honoring her parent’s native language and her Latin identity.

Maia Reficco is a Boston, Massachusetts-born singer, songwriter and actress of Argentine-American descent. She is best known for her role as “Kally” on the Nickelodeon series Kally’s Mashup, for which she was nominated for numerous awards. On stage she recently starred as “Natalie” in the Kennedy Center’s musical Next to Normal and “Young Eva” in the New York City Center’s Encores! production of EVITA. At the recording studio, Maia unleashes the sounds that have been seeping into her creative process, while introducing her own style of writing: soulful and powerful with a touch of a sensual twist.
