FIRST TRACK OFF HER BEE-B FORTHCOMING EP
“LOVE ME WHILE I’M HERE”
After a momentous year of evocative singles in 2021, the grammy-nominated, multi-talented artist, producer and songwriter Bee-B returns with the release of her first song of 2022 “Can We” Ft. Raheem Devaughn out now on all streaming platforms. “Can We” Ft. Raheem Devaughn serves as the perfect follow-up to her recent release of “Live Sessions with Urban Nostalgia” EP which is a rendition of her “Urban Nostalgia” EP that was released back in May 2018.
“Can We” is the first song off her forthcoming EP “Love Me While I’m Here” which is set to release this summer. Bee-B and Raheem Devaughn’s soothing vocals and authentic lyricism and honesty stand out on “Can We” as they sing over a melodic and moody beat. The sultry and nostalgic track leaves you craving for more, adding Raheem to the mix adds a level of musicality that solidifies this track as one to remember!
“Let’s bring back love songs and love stories in music, this is an ode to real love, this is an ode to believing in love again, I want to be in love right now,” says Bee-B. “Having Raheem one of the greatest R&B artists out of the DMV on this record is an honor. We created a love story through this single.”
“I think as an artist there’s magic,” says Raheem Devaughn. “That we look to create when we do collaborations & duets like this. Bee-B and I found that space with this bedroom banger. We got one!”
Bee-B is just one facet of Brittany B’s ever-growing career as a songwriter, artist, and actress. She started self-releasing her early mixtapes in 2018, while writing for music’s biggest stars such as John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, and Queen Naija. She landed a Grammy Nomination as a songwriter all before releasing an album. In 2021 she released two singles; Stretch & Confidence garnering over 1+ million combined streams & views and earning her comparisons to Missy Elliott. Although she can rap and sing, She seems to have finally found her musical identity with “Can We?” which cast aside rapping for heavy nods to r&b/soul and jazz. In 2022, she’s already filmed her first feature film in a lead supporting role slated to be out in Fall 2022 cementing her position as a new R&B triple threat.
