« ALL 4 NOTHING (I’M SO IN LOVE) »
Singer-songwriter, director and multi-instrumentalist at the top of the Charts Lauv launches his brand new single “All 4 Nothing (I’m So In Love )”, available everywhere now via Virgin Music Label and Artist Services. Accompanied by a music video, it is the title track of Lauv’s highly anticipated second full-length album, All 4 Nothing, which will be released in August. Lauv also announced a North American tour — full itinerary below.
Of what inspired her new song, Lauv says, “‘All 4 Nothing (I’m So In Love)’ is about loving someone so much at a time in your life when you’re still learning to love yourself and you’re afraid that your personal insecurities will ruin that sincere and transformative love. In short, it’s a song about surrender to love and life. »
Directed by Hannah Lux Davis (Ariana Grande, Doja Cat), the stunning music video captures the euphoric feeling of falling in love for the first time. The music video will premiere by Nick Music and MTV’s Fresh Out Live in the United States.
Commenting on the music video, Lauv continues, “Shooting the music video with Hannah Lux Davis was an incredible experience that not only pushed the boundaries of my conception of myself as an artist but also demonstrated the breadth of Hannah’s talent, who is able to bring out the best in the artists she works with. It exceeded all my expectations compared to shooting a music video for this song. A real dream. »
On his new album, All 4 Nothing, Lauv evolves the sound that has made him known more than ever. He focused on the narrative aspect while creating an immersive work where nostalgia rubs shoulders with conflict and, ultimately, emancipation.
Lauv’s North American tour will begin on August 11, with stops scheduled in New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium, and Los Angeles at the Greek Theatre.
