Considered “the future of country music” (Billboard), Kane Brown arrived on the scene in 2016 with his self-titled debut album certified 2X platinum, becoming the first artist to sit at the top of Billboard’s top five country charts simultaneously. Kane Brown remained at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart for 13 weeks and included the 7X platinum-certified hits “Heaven” and “What Ifs” – the fourth and seventh most streamed country songs of all time (according to Nielsen’s Country On-Demand Streams chart). With the release of his next album Experiment (2018), Brown became the only male country artist in over 24 years whose second album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Certified platinum, the album included three #1 hits certified multi-platinum: “Lose It”, “Good As You” and “Homesick”. After Experiment, Brown launched his Mixtape Vol. 1, which was nominated for the ACM Awards in the Album of the Year category (2021) and won the ACM Award for Music Video of the Year. Nominated for the CMA, ACM, Billboard Awards, AMA and People’s Choice Awards, Brown has collaborated with many artists, including GRAMMY Award-winning and Academy Award-winning singer-songwriter H.E.R. (“Blessed & Free”), DJ Marshmello (the 2X platinum-certified song “One Thing Right”), Khalid and Swae Lee (the platinum-certified song “Be Like That”), blackbear (“Memory”), Nelly (the platinum-certified song “Cool Again”), John Legend (“Last Time I Say Sorry”), Camila Cabello (the remix of “Never Be The Same”), Brooks & Dunn (“Believe” on the duo’s reboot album ) and Becky G. (the Spanish remix of “Lost In The Middle Of Nowhere”). Brown’s most recent collaboration, “Famous Friends” with Chris Young, became the #1 song on Billboard’s Country Airplay Song chart in late 2021 and won the CMT Award for Collaborative Music Video of the Year. Recently included by Time on the list of the 100 most influential people in the world, Kane Brown has grown from a social media star to one of the most accomplished country artists, with seven #1 songs on the charts to date, including his most recent hit, “One Mississippi.” Written by Brown, Matt McGinn, Taylor Phillips and Jordan Schmidt, Brown’s new single, “Like I Love Country Music” will be available this Friday (5/6) and, just like “One Mississippi,” will be part of Brown’s next album expected to be released later this year.
