The 22nd annual International Beverly Hills Film Festival® (BHFF) has announced its second-ever virtual edition, which is livestreaming 100+ official selections globally via the fest’s site, beverlyhillsfilmfestival.com, from June 1– June 5, 2022. The fest is presenting its 2022 line-up including films with star-studded actors and filmmakers, including the feature documentary “Roger Corman: The Pope of Pop Cinema” with Ron Howard and Peter Bogdanovich“Root Letter,” featuring Mark St. Cyr“The Sands Between” with Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy; “We Are Gathered Here Today” with Danny Huston; “Til’ We Meet Again,” a student film with Howie Mandel; “Not to Forget,” featuring an all-star cast, including one of Cloris Leachman’s last performances,“The 90s Club” with Dick Van Dyke, “We Are All in This Together,” with Danny Houston and John Farrow: Hollywood’s Man in the Shadows.”

Festival president, Nino Simone, says, “In our 22nd year, this virtual edition of the festival allows us to accommodate our international filmmakers while expanding our screening reach across the globe to a much wider audience. We have an incredible line-up of up-and-coming filmmakers, alongside celebrity-studded films that feature diverse themes promoting inclusivity and diversity amongst the film community.”

BHFF Jury members this year include: Jury president, the award-winning producer Frederico Lapenda; Oscar-winning screenwriter & producer Nick Vallelonga (“Green Book”); Wonderfilm founding producer Kirk Shaw (“Moose,” starring John Travolta, “Primal,” starring Nic Cage)Roberta Augusto, Senior VP of Marketing, Distribution & Publicity at IDC, a Lionsgate Company (“LaLa Land,” “The Twilight Saga,” “The Hunger Games”); Emmy-winning producer Nate Thomas (PBS’ “The Last of the One Night Stands,” “East of Hope Street”); film and music video director Brett Leonard (“Lawnmower Man,” IMAX’s “T-Rex,” “Virtuosity”); veteran actor John Posey (“Selena,” “Criminal Minds,” “Teen Wolf”); Joe Cortese; talent and literary agent Amy Lord (partner, Eris); and marketing strategist Gary Shapiro (former senior VP marketing,  Sony Pictures, and a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences).

Past recipients of the BHFF Legends Award include: producer Mike Medavoy; actor Jon Voight, actress Ann Archer, cinematographer Haskell Wexler, producer Frank Yablans, and “Rat Pack” photographer Phil Stern

Ticket prices are $15 for a block of screenings and $125 which includes screenings, panels, seminars and the Awards Presentation live on Sunday, June 5th.
