The film OFFICIAL COMPETITION by Mariano Cohn and Gaston Duprat will be released on June 24th. Presented in world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in 2021 and then selected at the Toronto International Film Festival and the Tribecca Festival, this comedy stars Penélope Cruz, Antonio Banderas and Oscar Martínez. The film also won the Audience Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
Two actors (Banderas and Martínez) with opposite working methods come into conflict while preparing for a film. The film, financed by a millionaire, is directed by a renowned and somewhat eccentric filmmaker (Cruz).

Distributed in Canada by SPHÈRE FILMS, OFFICIAL COMPETITION will be released in the original version with French subtitles and in the original version with English subtitles on June 24, 2022.
