Social House returns with an electric new summer single “Bentley Coupe” out now. This is Social House’s first release post-pandemic and sets an exciting tone for what’s to come. Social House’s music is a melting pot, they pull their collective influences from jazz inspired melodies, guitar rhythms from country, hip-hop production, and alternative chord progressions. That fusion, the duo says, is emotionally driven more than anything and largely mirrors whatever they’re feeling/experiencing at that time.
Social House, composed of Michael “Mikey” Foster and Charles “Scootie,” formed after the pair moved to Los Angeles from Pittsburgh. They made their start writing and producing songs for other artists, including Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Steven Malcolm and NCT 127. Social House released their debut single “Magic in the Hamptons” featuring rapper Lil Yachty which has had over 300 million streams on Spotify. Shortly after, the duo released additional singles including “Higher” and “Boyfriend” with Ariana Grande.
Social House has amassed millions of streams and pre-pandemic opened for Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour, following their standout performances at Coachella and Lollapalooza in 2019. The duo were awarded “Song of the Summer” for “boyfriend” at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards and have been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
