What do Jessica Biel, Jason Sudekis, Lucy Liu, Macklemore, Tim Gunn, Axl Rose, Terry Bradshaw, Cher, and Kacey Musgraves have in common? Give up? Well, they all did guest voices on season two of the animated series Scooby-Doo and Guess Who. There are other guest voices so keep your ears pricked to pick up on the others in each of the 26 episodes of season two.

Young amateur sleuths, ghosts, mysteries, and plenty of laughs. All these elements have throughout the decades made up the various animated Scooby-Doo films and series. Generations of kids and older kids (otherwise known as adults) have enjoyed the adventures of Scooby (voiced by Frank Welker), Shaggy (voiced by Matthew Lillard), Fred (voiced by Frank Welker), Daphne (voiced by Grey Griffin), and Velma (voiced by Kate Micucci). Mostly because it is a fun combination of spooky and laughs.

Not all the incarnations of Scooby-Doo have been good. Some are definitely better than others. This is one of the better ones. Season two continues the quality level of season one. The entertaining storylines are coupled with some great voice work by the guest stars and regular cast, especially Matthew Lillard as Shaggy.

What does take some getting used to is the animation. Different from what it has traditionally looked like. Doesn’t mean that it is crap, just different. Don’t let the difference distract you from what is probably one of the best versions of Scooby-Doo since the original.
