SUNDAYS AT PARC JEAN-DRAPEAU
UNTIL OCTOBER 2, 2022
After a high-energy Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, Piknic Électronik does not take a break in July. Throughout the month, Montrealers are invited to celebrate the beautiful season that is in full swing thanks to a program simmered with small onions by our collaborators of (Avec) Courage. In July, Ukrainian techno sensation Nastia will open the ball to the delight of electronic music aficionados.
In July, no truce for Piknic Électronik!
The pace will remain just as strong at Piknic Électronik this month. On July 3, Ukrainian techno star DJ Nastia, as well as Stef Mendesidis (live), Dust-e-1, Perel, Esther and Rebogene will perform for the Montreal public. The following weekend, July 10, British DJ and techno music producer Rebekah Omar Hamdi, a live performance by Leo Pol (live), Heidy P and Balou, were added to the lineup. On July 17, music lovers will be delighted to find the original and amazing productions of the Australian Mall Grab, as well as Martyn Bootyspoon, M0llygum, The Holy, shift Radio co-founder Audrey Bélanger and Donotstealmyname. On July 24, Ellen Allien, icon of an entire generation, will electrify the crowd alongside Ledisko on the Videotron stage, while the XYZ label will be at the helm of the Boisé stage with David Orin, from the New York deep and melodic scene, as well as Mitch Oliver and Laure.
Tickets for the entire regular programming of Piknic Électronik are available on the website of Piknic Électronik. Festival-goers can purchase tickets at a pre-sale rate of $20 now.
Remember that in addition to the regular programming on Sundays, Piknic Électronik offers several evenings in OfF Piknic mode throughout the summer: special evenings, where big names in the electronic scene and artistic collectives will follow one another at the turntables of Parc Jean-Drapeau. In July, festival-goers will be able to find, under this formula, Boiler Room on July 2, including Armand Van Helden, MCR-T, Paramida, Priori, Chippy Nonstop et Cera Khin ; the legendary collective Anjunabeats on July 9 with mesmerizing trance sounds or the talented Toronto duo Zeds Dead on July 16.
