Paul-André Thibert, singer of Dionysos, known as the first progressive rock band in Quebec, will return home on September 23 at the Café Chez Rose of the CEGEP in Valleyfield. Dionysos was a group from Valleyfield and gave their very first show at the Cité des Arts et des Sports, in September 1969.
It was following the reissue of the three albums recorded in the 1970s as well as the release last spring of a 5-CD box set containing the complete music of the group Dionysos, that Thibert decided to return to the stage to mark the occasion.
Accompanied by five musicians, Thibert will perform more than twenty songs drawn from the repertoire of his former group and from the songs of his latest eponymous CD released in 2018.
