This creation, imagined and produced by Cirque du Soleil Événements + Expériences, will pay tribute to the great queens of Quebec song who have marked more than 90 years of music history.

Under the executive production of Marie-Josée Adam, this 75-minute show, created exclusively for the Cogeco Amphitheatre, will bring together 31 artists from around the world in a staging by Lydia Bouchard and a musical direction by Jean-Phi Goncalves

Spectators will have the chance to discover the dark and luminous universe of Phoénix, a young queen, played by Anaïs Gonzalez and Colette Lemay alternately, who walks through a long pilgrimage accompanied by her people. This musical and acrobatic fable will make the public live an experience rich in emotions.

Going through several decades of music, the great tunes of our female icons of Quebec song will be performed on stage by four singers: a first for the Tribute Series! As part of the show, the talented Marie-Christine Depestre, Heidi Jutras and Francesca Como will play the role of singers, but also benevolent godmothers. The voice of the young Phoénix will be added to the trio to offer this ode dedicated to local women, to all those who have created crossroads, who have gone off the beaten track, or who have sought their own way.

«We are extremely proud and excited to present Vive nos divas to the public after more than two years of absence. The creative team turned the project on all sides to make sure it lived up to the divas we celebrate. We know that the people of Trois-Rivières are true fans of Cirque du Soleil, which we like to surprise and amaze. It is an honour for acrobats and dancers to perform on the stage of the Cogeco Amphitheatre which offers us, night after night, a unique view! says Lydia Bouchard, director of the show.
