Stephen Ramsay (Young Galaxy) and Torquil Campbell (Stars) have joined forces as TFD (TOTAL FUCKING DARKNESS), a reimagining of the sounds of late 80s British pop music set to the current total fucking darkness in which the world inhabits.
Their first single, “The TFD” is equal parts atmospheric and melodic synth pop, declaring “Death to fascists, death to men, death to politicians and the women who live with them,” juxtaposed by the sweetly sung, ironic optimism of the song’s key refrain.
