For the start of the school year, in addition to its regular programming, Piknic Électronik invites all electronic music aficionados to Parc Jean-Drapeau as part of its OfF Piknic evenings, a series of special events where the giants of the current electronic scene follow one another on the turntables. Thanks to a program of (With) Courage, festival-goers will be able to celebrate the start of the school year alongside big names such as Dillon Francis (September 2),  Fatboy Slim (September 3), Bonobo (September 10) or Richie Hawtin (September 24).

A lively second part of the season for Piknic Électronik

Recall that in parallel with its OfF programming, the 19th season of Piknic Électronik continues to be in full swing until October 9 (and yes, a final date was announced two days ago!). This weekend, festival-goers will be treated to a Piknic that will take place exceptionally on Saturday and will take place as part of the launch of the second volume of the compilation Planète Piknic. They will be able to hear Kora & Wuachuma, Lilya Mandre, Cezaire, Silktits, Thomas White and NoKliché, all of which will be part of the second volume of the compilation. Then, on August 28, Detroit house and techno legend Omar S will perform alongside Regularfantasy and Farren Laen while MUTEK will be on the Boisé stage with Debbie Doe and Personal Demons! The complete program is to be found here.
