TORONTO RAPTORS, BOSTON CELTICS AND UTAH JAZZ HEADLINE THE EIGHTH NBA CANADA SERIES PRESENTED BY BELL
 
 2022 preseason games will feature Raptors vs Jazz in Edmonton (October 2) and Raptors vs Celtics in Montreal (October 14) 

The National Basketball Association (NBA) will present the eighth 2022 NBA Canada Series presented by Bell will include two preseason games in Edmonton and Montreal in October 2022, marking the first edition of the series since 2019.
 
On Sunday, October 2, the Toronto Raptors will face the Utah Jazz at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB; it will be the Jazz’s first appearance at Bell’s NBA Canada Series and the first NBA game played at Rogers Place. The Raptors currently include 2019 NBA Champion Pascal Siakam, as well as 2021-22 NBA Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes, in addition to Quebec players Chris Boucher and Khem Birch, and Toronto player Dalano Banton. Three-time NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell and Canadian winger Nickeil Alexander-Walker play for the Jazz.

On Friday, October 14, the Raptors will face the 2022 NBA Eastern Conference champions, the Boston Celtics, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC; it will be the Celtics’ second appearance in Montreal as part of Bell’s NBA Canada Series (after 2013) and the sixth league game played in Montreal since 2012. The Celtics currently have three-time NBA All-Star and 2021-22 NBA First Team member Jayson Tatum, 2020-21 All-Star Jaylen Brown, and 2021-22 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart.

Both games will coincide with the 10th anniversary of Bell’s first NBA Canada Series game, a preseason game between the Raptors and the New York Knicks in Montreal in 2012. A total of 14 NBA teams participated in 14 preseason games across five provinces as part of the NBA Canada Series presented by Bell, attracting a total attendance of more than a quarter of a million Canadians.
