Jason Voorhees. That is a name all horror fans know. This is his beginning. How that character and his hockey goalie mask began a whole slasher horror film series that went on for decades. This, the original film, came out in 1980 and during the 80s Jason was a big part of film. All who grew up during that decade probably saw at least one Friday the 13th. Here we get a remastered version of Sean S. Cunningham’s film.

Camp Crystal Lake. That is where it all begins. A new owner tries to bring back to life a camp with a violent past. Rumour has it that years ago a young boy named Jason Voorhees drowned in the lake there. After that there was a series of murders and the authorities believe that the place has a death curse.

Well, the new owner and his camp counsellor are trying to prove that wrong, but they end up paying a heavy price as the killings start up again. There is a violent killer on the loose who is hunting them down one by one.

Now, we are not talking classic stuff here. I mean, it is a classic 80s horror but as far as film quality goes this is not a good one. But it sure as hell is a lot of cheesy fun!
