Evenko announces the addition of a second show by the sensational ANGÈLE, on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Bell Centre!
Angèle is the story of a young Belgian artist who is a runaway success:
- 3.2 billion streaming listens worldwide
- 1.6 million subscribers on her YouTube channel
- 709 million views on her channel
His debut album Brol (released in October 2018 and followed by Brol, the sequel, a reissue with 7 new tracks, in November 2019) is composed in his bedroom on a single computer. A title, clips, social networks that go wild, a huge and sudden success: more than 1.6 million albums sold, three Victoires de la musique in France and D6bels in Belgium!
Following this surge of success, it is in Brussels that Angèle has come to find herself… she loves Paris, where she spends a lot of time, Angèle remains very attached to her native city where she lives, as well as her family and friends. This is why she dedicated “Bruxelles je t’aime”, the first single from her latest album Nonante cinq, released last December and already certified platinum. A documentary about her young career was released in November 2021 on Netflix and a second single entitled “Libre” is currently on the radio.
On this new album, which she composed and co-produced with Tristan Salvati, her sidekick since the beginning, Angèle has dressed up her new songs with catchy beats and bouncy bass inspired by both No Doubt and Tame Impala. For the final touch to her songs, she collaborated with French mixer NKf (PNL, Orelsan, Booba, Damso) and American Josh Gudwin. The latter has also fine-tuned the sounds of Justin Bieber, J Balvin and Dua Lipa, the English singer with whom Angèle co-wrote and produced their duet “Fever”, the hit from 2021. Angèle performed the song with Dua Lipa on stage at Madison Square Garden in New York last March and also opened for her at the London O2 in May.
Angèle set the MTELUS stage ablaze during her sold-out show at the Francos de Montréal on June 16, 2019, which was followed by a colourful performance in front of a delirious crowd at the Bell Centre on December 13, 2019!
