JOURNEY

Since the band’s formation in 1973, JOURNEY has released 19 Top 40 hits as well as 25 gold and platinum albums, selling more than 100 million records worldwide.  The band’s album “Greatest Hits” is certified 15 times platinum, making JOURNEY one of the only bands to have a diamond-certified record to its credit, and the song “Don’t Stop Believin'”  has been streamed more than a billion times.

JOURNEY was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2017, and in 2018, their tour with DEF LEPPARD was the band’s most popular to date, ending up in the Top 10 most popular tours of the year thanks to over one million tickets sold. The band received Billboard’s “Legends Of Live”  award. In March 2019, “Escape & Frontiers Live In Japan” was released, a live DVD/CD recorded at the Budokan in Tokyo. JOURNEY also received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall Of Fame. In addition, the band is the subject of the documentary “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” about its revival since the addition of Arnel Pineda as lead singer after JOURNEY founding member Neal Schon discovered the Filipino native on YouTube.

TOTO has achieved a rare feat for a group in the modern era. The group has accumulated more than 3 billion streams, including “Africa”, which has been listened to more than a billion times on Spotify. This year, the song was certified 8X platinum by the RIAA.

Over the past decade, the band has seen a resurgence in popularity and its audience is now multigenerational, with more and more young fans every year. Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams are joined by bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note, founding member of Snarky Puppy, Snoop Dogg), keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note), multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) and keyboardist/backing vocalist Steve Maggiora. This line-up is the 15th incarnation of TOTO. Individually and collectively, few musicians have left their mark on popular culture as TOTO members. They can be heard on 5,000 albums of which one billion copies have been sold, and they have received hundreds of Grammy nominations.

Together for more than 45 years, having collaborated on the most popular album of all time (Michael Jackson’s Thriller ), TOTO remains one of the best-selling bands in the world. The band influenced many other artists and was synonymous with musical credibility. It is one of the only groups from the 1970s that has survived changing fashions and trends and is still relevant.
