POP Montréal has announced the latest installation of the Wainwright Holiday concert “Étoiles et Toi” on December 3rd at the Église St Jean Baptiste in Montreal. All profits from the concert will support The Kate McGarrigle Foundation, a foundation that provides funding for sarcoma research as well as music therapy resources to cancer patients with a passion for music.
As Rufus heartfeltly states “The earliest memories I have of Christmas are from our living room in St. Sauveur, my mom Kate at the piano making up the chords to a Christmas carol, we piece the lyrics together sans google and us kids singing along with aunt Jane and Anna and grandmother Gaby trying to make up new harmonies as we go along. These shows have the same feeling for me. The living room just got a bit larger.”
So join them on Saturday, December 3rd at the beautiful St Jean Baptiste Church, in the heart of the Plateau to celebrate the holidays with the Wainwright family and many friends as they sing carols into the stars.
