GLU, the indie/hip-hop solo project of Michael Shuman, widely known as the bassist of the rock band Queens of the Stone Age, has released a new single. Fans can listen to the dark and vibey “NIGHT SHIFT” now at this link: https://orcd.co/glunightshift

“NIGHT SHIFT” discusses the impending doom we feel, generated by the current state of our world,” explains Shuman on the track. “And with those existential feelings, living your life without a proper concern about tomorrow, but rather living for today.”

The music blends disparate influences from Gorillaz and Mac Miller to Depeche Mode, to create a precision vocal flow with driving pop and angular guitars to create a complex sound that is as threatening as it is accessible.

GLU recently performed a string of shows with Phantogram throughout November. The final stop of the tour will take place in Los Angeles, CA at Zebulon.
