BUZZ BRASS IS CELEBRATING ITS 20th ANNIVERSARY
WITH AN EXCEPTIONAL CONCERT
Buzz Brass presents an exceptional concert to mark the group’s 20th anniversary with a program that looks back on the diverse works that have highlighted this outstanding quintet’s remarkable history. The concert will be taking place on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. in the concert hall of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal.
The retrospective will be featuring the various concerts and albums that the ensemble has produced and created since its foundation. Accordingly, the quintet’s five musicians will also by turns be accompanied in the course of the program by actors Vincent Côté and Eloi ArchamBaudoin as well as by the tandem of percussionists Corinne René, on vibraphone, and Alain Bastien, on drums. Buzz Brass thus wishes to demonstrate that it is possible to play so-called serious music, in a serious way, without taking itself too seriously. Do please note that this concert will only be presented once, which is rather exceptional in the course of Buzz Brass’ history… An opportunity therefore not to be missed!
