Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, “An Adoption Story” is Kitt’s musical interpretation of his journey of losing his parents, entering the foster care system, and being separated from his sister. These circumstances eventually led to him being adopted by two wonderful parents. However, the story comes full circle when he reunited with his sister 30 years later, who had been living within one mile of him for 15 years. Through life’s serendipity, a few months after reuniting with his sister, Kitt and his wife adopted three siblings to help them avoid the trauma of being separated.
“An Adoption Story” was composed/arranged by Kitt Wakeley, recorded at Abby Road Studios with the London Symphony and features Star Parrodi on piano.
