The 2003 nominations for the The Rock & Roll Hall include a bevy of all-star contenders including: Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/ New Order, Cyndi Lauper, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, The Spinners, A Tribe Called Quest, The White Stripes and Warren Zevon. The 14 music artists/bands, have all met the industry requirement of having released their first commercial recording at least 25 years preceding to the year of nomination.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame President & CEO Greg Harris, was quoted as saying , “These 14 artists have had a massive impact on the music we all love and celebrate,” before delivering the official list of nominees. View below.
Music fans can cast their votes on vote.rockhall.com. The official announcement for the list of inductees will be presented in May.
