In the third instalment of the “Trolls” film series, titled “Trolls Band Together,” the filmmakers strike a better balance between music and storyline compared to the previous instalment, “Trolls World Tour.” The movie introduces dazzling details, inventive characters, and a heartwarming tale of reunion and reconciliation within the colorful world of the Trolls.

Returning voice actors Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake deliver impressive performances as Princess Poppy and Branch. The plot takes an unexpected turn when Branch reveals his past as the youngest member of the boy band BroZone, and Poppy discovers that he has four long-lost biological brothers. The eldest brother, John Dory, reenters Branch’s life urgently, revealing that one of their brothers, Floyd, has been kidnapped by scheming pop sensations Velvet and Veneer.

The film successfully avoids the pitfalls of its predecessors, focusing on the narrative rather than solely on the music. Poppy and Branch embark on a journey to reconcile with their family and heal the trauma caused by the long separation. The story unfolds in a captivating 90-minute adventure filled with good music, impressive animation, and enjoyable moments for the entire family. “Trolls Band Together” is a must-watch for both the young and the young at heart.
