Parents should know that “Migration” is an enchanting, animated escapade centered on a family of four ducks, led by the cautious Mack (voiced by Kumail Nanjiani) and nurturing Pam (voiced by Elizabeth Banks) Mallard, embarking on a thrilling migration odyssey. Mack’s protective instincts are justified as the Mallards encounter a myriad of dangers in a predator-filled world, from looming birds of prey to chefs brandishing knives, necessitating daring escapes. Yet, amidst the peril, the film seamlessly integrates humor, delivering a heartfelt message about embracing life’s adventures despite the inherent risks.

A particularly hair-raising sequence featuring a heron is expertly crafted to evoke the suspense of a horror film, enhancing the experience for younger viewers, especially on the grand scale of the big screen. Nevertheless, much like the resilient Mallards, most children will bravely navigate these moments.

Adding to the excitement, viewers are treated to three exclusive “All-New Minions Short Movies”: “Fly Hard,” “Mooned,” and “Midnight Mission.” These captivating shorts, serving as delightful bonuses, provide additional entertainment for the entire family. While they may feature occasional mild language from the minions, it’s nothing substantial enough to detract from the overall enjoyment for most audiences.
