Our city was buzzing with F1 activities earlier this week and it was also an official kick off to summer events in Montreal.
F1 weekend attracted many locals and tourists to the races, parties and special events that took place in downtown. I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a special event organized by the Boss brand at the Eaton Center. Montreal’s very own race car driver Lance Stroll was welcomed by a big crowd that showed up to check out his live interview with Sports Broadcaster/former Habs player P.J. Stock.
Lance was happy to be back home to race at this year’s event for his family’s brand Aston Martin. He talked about getting ready for the big race, how he prepares for such events, his go to music to prep and what he loves about our great city.
He also got the crowd excited when he threw out autographed baseball caps into the crowd and even managed to reach the fans on the second floor, who were thrilled to be part of the fun.
The fun continued with exclusive events and parties throughout the weekend and while Lance came in 7th place at the races, he did a good job and represented our city well. Here are some fun highlight pics.
