With friends and family cheering him on, Nick Durocher of Talk was thrilled to return to Ottawa, a city where he’s enjoyed countless Ottawa Blues Fest editions since his first in 2005. Durocher fondly reminisced about some of his favorite artists who have graced the Blues Main Stage over the years, including the Black Eyed Peas, Kiss, Rush, Black Keys, Foo Fighters, and many more.

The arrival of Canadian artist Nick Durocher and his band Talk was marked by the song “Trumpeters Cry.” The band kicked off their set with “Fall for You,” igniting the crowd’s excitement which only grew as the night went on. A delightful surprise was Talk’s rendition of Radiohead’s “Creep,” alongside three other standout covers: “Joker and the Thief” by Wolfmother, “Everlong” by Foo Fighters, and “The Middle” by Jimmy Eat World.
This concert was an exhilarating experience, showcasing the vibrant energy of a local band that truly captivated the audience. Following Talk’s electrifying performance, Tyler Childers took the stage, promising to keep the momentum going.
